What issues should be paid attention to during the operation of the laser engraving machine?

The laser engraving machine engraves the material through the heat energy of the laser beam, and its core component is the laser. The following aspects need to be paid attention to during the operation of the laser engraving machine.

‌1. Safety grounding ‌

The laser power supply of the laser engraving machine must be grounded. Make sure that the grounding wire is connected to the ground. It must not be connected to doors, windows, water pipes and other facilities to prevent external interference from causing machine tool jumps or high-voltage discharge. ‌

‌2. Cooling water system ‌

Ensure that the cooling water system is unobstructed and the water temperature is maintained between 15-20℃. Check whether the cooling water is frozen or has impurities, and replace the cooling water regularly to prevent the laser from being damaged. ‌

‌3. Lens cleaning ‌

Clean the reflector and focusing lens regularly, and use special camera lens paper or medical cotton swabs dipped in a mixture of alcohol and ether (ratio of 1:1) to wipe and keep the lens clean. ‌

‌4. Ventilation and dust removal ‌

Ensure the unobstructed ventilation and dust removal system to prevent the chassis from being corroded due to excessive accumulation of smoke and moisture, and damage electronic components. ‌

‌5. Environmental requirements‌

The laser engraving machine should be used in a dry environment to avoid high voltage sparks caused by a humid environment. It is strictly forbidden to place flammable and explosive items near the equipment to prevent the laser from deviating and causing a fire. ‌

‌6. Operation specifications‌

The operator must be trained, and non-professionals are strictly prohibited from disassembling the machine without authorization. When the machine is working, the operator is prohibited from leaving without authorization to avoid unnecessary losses. ‌

‌7. Voltage stability‌

It is forbidden to turn on the machine when the voltage is unstable, and a voltage stabilizer must be used to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. ‌

‌8. Equipment maintenance‌

Keep the inside and outside of the equipment clean after each use, remove engraving residues, and wipe the guide rails and other rusty parts with engine oil. The lens can only be cleaned by gently wiping with absorbent cotton dipped in anhydrous ethanol. ‌

‌9. Emergency treatment‌

If there is a problem with the machine, all power should be turned off immediately and a professional maintenance engineer should be contacted for processing.
